This course introduces you to the exciting world of air-dry clay and is suitable for anyone.

Why air-dry clay?

Simple: no kiln or firing required so skills and creativity can continue at home with no need for specialist equipment.                                           

Learn basic modelling techniques to create a variety of gifts, home and garden items. Create a tea light holder, gonk, vase and flowers, basket, green man, herb signs, sculptures. These are only some of the things you could create.

Templates and moulds will also be available for your use. The only limitation is your own imagination.

Once dry, acrylic paint is used to seal the clay and varnished if to be used in wet area or out in the garden.

All materials are provided for this course.
