🎨 Meet Your Tutor & What You Will Create
Our expert tutor, Kay, will guide you step-by-step through the process of constructing:
- Asymmetrical Door Swag: A modern, elegant alternative to the traditional round wreath.
- Festive Table Centrepiece: A candle-lit arrangement designed to stay fresh through the holidays.
This class is designed for all abilities—we warmly welcome absolute beginners who have never handled foliage before, as well as returning students looking to refine their skills.
During this 4-hour creative session, you will learn:
- Base Construction: How to prepare a sturdy base to support your design.
- Foliage Selection & Binding: Techniques for layering and securing fresh, fragrant seasonal evergreens (such as pine, fir, and holly) to ensure a full, luxurious look.
- Festive Adornments: How to artfully wire and arrange holiday decorations, including pinecones, Christmas baubles, berries, and ribbons.
- Preservation Secrets: Professional tips to keep your arrangement looking fresh, vibrant, and beautiful throughout the entire Christmas season and beyond.
🥧 What Is Included in the cost?
- All Materials: A variety of fresh, locally sourced seasonal foliage and a wide selection of decorative elements.
- Tools of the Trade: Full use of workshop tools, wires, and safety equipment.
- Festive Hospitality: Complimentary seasonal refreshments, including tea, coffee, and traditional mince pies to keep you fuelled while you create.

- Just Yourself! Everything required to make these professional arrangements is provided.
- Optional Personal Touches: If you have a specific colour scheme at home or want to incorporate sentimental decorations (such as specific baubles, a family ribbon, or unique battery-operated fairy lights), please feel free to bring them along.
- Clothing Note: We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little bit of sap or glitter on.
