This course is designed to help you to obtain the basic skills required to create and use a spreadsheet using MS Excel. You will learn to use simple calculations, edit, delete, move, copy and manipulate data. You will learn to format and print your spreadsheets. You will gain a good working knowledge of Excel basics. Understand and use some of the built in calculations and formula functionality. Create easy to use professionally presented spreadsheets.
You will explore Excel, consolidating and reinforcing your skills with practical work based scenarios, so you can apply them to your workplace immediately.
This course is targeted at beginners with little or no experience of spreadsheets. It is an introductory course focusing on a variety of common features within Excel that will provide the basics required to use spreadsheets competently
Learners will need to bring a USB Memory stick, pen, paper and an A4 ring binder. All resources are provided through hand outs or, from links to access resource sites for this course.
